Horace Barrett lived in West Bangor and Malone for much of his life. He was a Civil War Veteran and served as a PVT with the 193rd NY Infantry Regt.He belonged to G.A.R. Post 284 in Malone. I suspect that he was buried with honors by his brothers in the G.A.R. A G.A.R. grave marker may be posted at his grave site. He was my great, great, great uncle. -- York Barrett
